REGION 6

By: Cera Olsen — Region 6 Director

Region 6!
Hope everyone is shaking off this past winter and enjoying this spring weather. The start of our WE season is right around the corner. Of course, there have been some fantastic winter activities around the region! Check out our AO Facebook pages for all their activities, past and future! And remember to keep an eye on the Oak Spring Calendar for all of the Region 6 and 7 events. The Train to Win clinic is happening 22 and 23 March. We look forward to hosting Gilberto Fillepe and the incredible upper level riders from across Region 6 and neighboring regions. Working Equitation East has a show coming up at the end of April at Frying Pan farm, registration is open. If you aren’t sure if you are ready, there is a clinic hosted by NOVAWE at the beginning of April also at Frying Pan Farm. All details are on the Oak Spring calendar and the AO’s respective webpages. Keep an eye on the Facebook pages and websites for all details and updates throughout the events. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to another great season with each of you!

New England Working Equitation Updates

Our Virtual Learning Meetings have been well attended and we look forward to offering one each month. Keep an eye on NEWE on fb for upcoming dates. In March, our Guest Speaker was Doreen Atkinson. Virtual meetings are FREE to NEWE members and non members are invited to attend for a $15 fee.
